Derby Worx made many small changes to the Warp speed precision line of wheels.  One thing all customers need to understand is that when mass is removed, performance is gained, BUT durability is decreased, this is true with most high performance parts, but to help with this we have added a larger radius at the base of the hub and increased the wheel face thickness 10%, this has increased the wheel durability by almost 25% over last years wheel and removed the weight from outer diameter of the wheel where it is more important and durability is not effected.   Note:  Our failure rate on the Ultra Lite wheel last season was 3% which is awesome considering the use and the user of the wheel.     

Derby Worx have also added a slight crown to all of the precision line of wheels.  This crown somewhat replicates the stock molded crown and detracts from the “blocky” look of a wheel that is just lathe cut straight. Not only dose this improve performance, but it detracts the eye from a lathe cut wheel and with the superior finish we are able to achieve, the wheels almost look untouched.
